The Digital Cellcast is designed to use the digital GSM and CDMA cellphone networks found worldwide. It provides an easy-to-use, versatile high performance mixer/cellphone combination that is perfect for sports remotes.
The Digital Cellcast, operates as a typical mobile telephone and allows you to do remotes when you don't have a landline or can't do an RF link. Got a POTS landline at the remote site? The Digital Cellcast can connect with that, too!
In either cellular or POTS mode, simply dial over your selected network and connect to a landline phone at your studio, which is connected to your audio using a hybrid or coupler.
